Sakura Festival in Leeds vol.2

8th December 2018 10:00 - 16:00 @Left Bank Leeds

The second Sakura Festival in Leeds was hosted by 12 university students from Japan. The festival was held on 8th December at Left Bank Leeds, and was a huge success with over 1,000 visitors. Students to elderly, British to other international students and families enjoyed all the activities, food and performances offered there. The event raised about £1750, which was fully donated to Red Cross Japan. 

Over 80% enjoyed the event, and many wished for this festival to take place again. The team felt accomplishment in terms of being able to build awareness of Japanese culture in UK.
